Welcome to my website.

My career as an artist started twenty-six years ago when I made the decision to leave my job selling advertising in London to pursue my dreams. I moved back to childhood home here in West Wales and painted my first picture as a professional artist. I can’t remember that first painting, it wasn’t my first ever painting because I had been drawing and painting wildlife since I was young, but it was the first time that I, somewhat nervously, “went public” with my passion.

Since that first day I have painted several thousand pictures in a long journey devoted to learning how to paint in watercolour. There have been many failures along the way, each being another lesson learned and reinforced by the ability to be able to get a clean sheet of paper and start again.

Any artists will tell you that they never stop learning, but over the past 26 year I have enjoyed a degree of success that has enabled myself and my wife Sally to raise a family, and was successful enough to allow me to continue chasing my dream.

Many of my pictures hang now in major collections in the UK and overseas, including a picture of scene at Sandringham painted for Prince William as a 21st birthday present from The Royal Household.
